Kolkatta, India – A machine tool manufacturer has unveiled a $25-million machine tool plant in Karkardooma, one of India’s biggest manufacturing centres.
The company, Kolkat, will make machine tools for a range of industries from construction and industrial to education and medical.
Kolkat is one of the largest manufacturing centres in India and has become a hub for the country’s IT industry.
It employs about 2,500 people and employs more than 300,000 workers across the country.
“This is a very big project for Kolkats manufacturing industry,” said Ashish Kumar, chairman and CEO of Kolkatan Machine Tools, who said it will be the first of its kind in the country to make and distribute machine tools.
“We are looking forward to seeing how it will turn out,” Kumar said.
Kolkatan will build and operate its first manufacturing plant in the city, which was one of five industrial hubs to be chosen for the project.
About 10% of the $1.2 billion investment is expected to be spent in construction and infrastructure.
The plant will employ more than 2,000 people.
Kolkatica is the largest city in India with an population of nearly 1.5 million people.
A machine tool is a tool with a sharp blade.
They are often used in the construction of machinery and in construction sites.
It is used for making repairs or repairs in machinery.
Some of the machines will be manufactured by Kolkattab, which is a subsidiary of the Indian Machine Tools Manufacturing Company (IMPLC).
The project will also create thousands of new jobs in the town.
Construction on the plant is expected start in 2018.
There are currently no plans for a factory in Kalkat.
